Varnish in Shared Web Hosting
Varnish is available as an optional upgrade with each and every shared web hosting and if you wish to use it, you can add it to your web hosting account using the Upgrades section in your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. There are two different things that can be upgraded – the instances and the system memory. The first one depends on the number of the websites that you would like to use Varnish for, whereas the second, which comes in increments of 32 megabytes, indicates the total amount of content that the platform can cache at any given moment. Hepsia’s time and effort saving GUI will enable you to terminate or to reboot any instance, to check elaborate system logs or to clear the platform’s cache with just one mouse click. For optimum results, you can employ a dedicated IP for the websites that will use the caching platform. With Varnish, your site will open substantially faster, which means more satisfied users and potential customers.
Varnish in Semi-dedicated Servers
Varnish comes by default with all semi-dedicated servers that we are offering and you can use it for workload distribution purposes. It’s available in your Hepsia Control Panel. The data caching platform comes with 64 megabytes of system memory for cached data storing purposes and you can employ it with any site that you host in the semi-dedicated account. If you’re in need of more, you can increase the memory quota. The memory itself is offered in increments of 32 megabytes in the Control Panel’s Upgrades section. The exact same section will allow you to activate more instances too, in case you would like to use the Varnish caching platform with more websites. The two upgrades can be added separately – you can cache the content of one resource-demanding website or run a number of websites with the default memory allocation. You can take full advantage of the Varnish caching platform if you use a dedicated IP and you can order one with your semi-dedicated server package as well. Hepsia will grant you full control over the caching platform and, with no more than one click, you will be able to clear the cache, to view a log file or to restart an instance.
Varnish in VPS Servers
The Varnish caching platform is included by default with each of the VPS servers that we offer as long as the virtual machine is ordered with the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, so you can boost the overall performance of your websites with only a couple of clicks of the mouse. The more powerful the plan, the more system memory will be available to Varnish, but even with a lower-end plan, the platform will be able to utilize several hundred megabytes, so even if you have several Internet sites, you will notice an enormous decrease in the server load and a much better page load speed. The Varnish platform will need to work for a while as the visitors navigate the site and once the website content has been cached, you will perceive the results. One of the pros of using Varnish is that a lower-end and less expensive VPS package will do the exact same job as a more costly one without the caching platform, so not only will your sites work much better, but you will also spare a certain amount of money.
Varnish in Dedicated Servers
You can use Varnish in order to increase the load speed of any website that’s hosted on a dedicated server from us when the Hepsia hosting Control Panel is pre-installed on it. Not only will you get the caching platform ready for use at no extra charge, but you’ll also exert total control over it via Hepsia’s simple-to-navigate interface. It’ll take just one click to start or delete an instance or to clear the cached files associated with any website that is using Varnish and in case you are more competent, you can also browse the platform’s logs. Varnish comes with at least 3 gigabytes of system memory for caching purposes, so even in case you run a large number of Internet sites on your machine and they all use the Varnish platform, the improvement in their overall performance will be distinguishable. You’ll just have to wait for a little while until Varnish caches whatever web pages the site visitors load on their end. The Varnish platform works best when the sites use a dedicated IP address, but owing to the fact that our dedicated servers include three free-of-charge IPs, you will have all that you need.
