Ubuntu in VPS Servers
Ubuntu is available with our VPS servers and you can buy a VPS running it in less than 1 hour. 32-bit and 64-bit editions of the OS are available, so you'll be able to choose the one that you need when the software that you want to run on your web hosting server has particular system requirements regarding this. You may also select whether your Ubuntu-powered VPS should be set up without a Control Panel, in which case you will have full root access and you'll be able to set up anything through a console; or if the Hepsia Control Panel should be set up on it, in which case you'll have a world wide web interface and all required web server, MySQL, FTP, mail server, etc. software will be pre-installed. The root access in the second case will be more restricted, but such a setup is more effective for users with less experience. We can also keep your Ubuntu up-to-date regularly if you add our Managed Services upgrade. You will be able to do so throughout the VPS order process or at any later time via your billing Control Panel.
Ubuntu in Dedicated Servers
If the apps that you need to run require Ubuntu as well as lots of resources, you can choose one of our dedicated servers and add this Operating System to your order with a single click. You're able to choose between the 32-bit and the 64-bit version of your Operating System, based on which edition your applications need to work properly and to get the most of your server hardware. Since you'll have full root access, you'll have full control over the software environment on the machine and you'll be able to install anything you'd like. The Ubuntu-powered server does not include a website hosting Control Panel, therefore you can manage your content through a Secure Shell console, however if you'd like, you can install a third-party Control Panel and use a graphical interface to manage your Internet sites. When you do not want to lose time managing the server, you can employ the Managed Services package, which includes lots of tasks performed by our system administrators on your behalf. The upgrade comes with routine updates of your Ubuntu OS as well.
